The ingenious solution
The compact ifm pressure switch of the series PK is the first electronic pressure switch to feature a successful combination of very easy setting and high long-term stability. This pressure switch is distinguished by a high pressure peak resistance and excellent resistance against aggressive media.

ifm pressure switch of the series PK won 'Leonards Trophy 2004' in the category 'Best components and automatism periphery'. This prize is awarded on the exhibition Automation Optimation Europe in Paris.

The simple operating concept
The easy handling is fascinating: The radial setting rings with a unit scale allowing optimum reading enables each user to adjust the setpoint and reset point quickly and precisely even without system pressure being applied. Due to the possibility of mechanical locking unauthorised manipulation is excluded. Two clearly visible LEDs as switching status and operating status indication provide the required feedback.

The versatile use
The robust pressure switch can be used in nearly all industrial and mobile applications. Not only standard hydraulic and pneumatic applications can be implemented, but also gas pressures up to 400 bar or applications in air conditioning and refrigerating technology. The maximum robustness of the stainless steel measuring cell ensures high long-term stability and wear-free operation over millions of pressure cycles.
