Benefits of stack lights with IO-Link connectivity

IO-Link offers the highest degree of flexibility for operation and configuration for stack lights (aka tower lamps, signal lamps). IO-Link provides easy control for ifm stack lights in various use cases:

• Up to three individual operating modes: RGB, on/off, and analog mode
• Up to 8 colors and brightness for each individual segment
• Blinking and flashing frequency of stack light appearance
• Buzzer style and decibel can be adjusted at any time

Process data mapping

Below there is an example of the IO-LInk process data mapping for a DV25xx 5-segment stacklight in the RGB mode. The process data mapping structure is slightly different for each of the DV stacklights. Please refer to the IODD pdf available at the Downloads tab on the sensor datasheet page.
